About Me
Since I was 6, I have been fascinated by photography. I was always amazed that it’s possible to capture a split second in time forever. My first camera was a polaroid camera that my parents gave me. Polaroids were especially interesting to me because the image was visible on the print only a minute or two after the picture had been taken. In my freshman year of high school, I took a few photography classes and really began to learn about the inner workings of photography. I shot film with an old manual SLR and developed and printed my own work. In college I took photographs for the school newspaper and have been fully transitioned to digital for a while now.
Since graduation, I’ve started to focus on what I really enjoy – shooting landscapes and sailing photography. Most of what I’ll be doing in the near future will be landscapes of the south shore of Massachusetts and areas in Rhode Island, where I work. My goal is to make my photographs depict to the full potential the natural beauty that is around us.
